THE L461 CHECKS THAT CHANGE THE BUYING DECISION
P460e/P550e replace the launch P440e/P510e, P530 gains mild-hybrid assistance and the 635PS SV introduces 6D Dynamics. Confirm VIN model year and fitted hardware.
Get the retailer’s complete open-action record
Public recall results do not replace VIN-specific safety, service-action and software-campaign evidence.
Complete a charge and high-voltage health scan
Test charging, cell balance, isolation, battery cooling, EV climate and engine/motor transitions. Displayed range alone proves very little.
The SV does not use ordinary Sport suspension
Its hydraulically interlinked 6D Dynamics system needs SV-specific inspection. Standard air-suspension diagnosis and repair pricing are not adequate.
Identify carbon-ceramic brakes and carbon wheels before pricing
Optional carbon components require approved inspection. The staggered 285/305 tyre specification, Octyma calipers and evidence of hard use also matter.
Dynamic Response Pro is an active electrical system
Scan both axle actuators and test roll response. Rear-wheel steering, adaptive damping and active driveline systems require separate calibration evidence.
OTA status does not prove every module is current
Test Pivi Pro, connected-account transfer and every camera/ADAS function, then compare installed software with retailer campaigns.
Inspect both turbo banks and all cooling circuits
P530 and SV use the 4.4 twin-turbo V8, not the previous 5.0 supercharged engine. Compare bank data and inspect main, charge and turbo cooling.
Check MLA-Flex repairs and PHEV battery protection
Previous impact or underbody damage needs a mixed-metal structural assessment and, on PHEVs, high-voltage enclosure and isolation checks.
